SyncPlay
Now a group of people can watch a show or movie together, regardless of location. Control can be by one Master user, or control can be shared across the group, enabling anyone to pause if they need to step away for a moment. When ready to resume, one participant can tap Play, and all attached Impala Streamers will begin playing, from the same point in the timeline.
A very useful feature, beyond its initial design purpose
I have tried this feature, from other providers, and we always ended up counting down, on the phone, to synchronize "Ok HHit play!" And, every time, it took multiple attempts to trigger at the same moment. This SyncPlay, worked every time.
I even use this feature when I am alone, want to watch a movie, but can't spare the time to just stay. Simple, just start up Impala Streamer in two or more rooms, connected via SyncPlay, you can start in one room, pause in another, over and over. Even shuttle backward and forward in the timeline. All rooms will stay synchronized.
